A warm welcome to you and thank you for your interest in our church.  Our congregation is a caring community deeply committed, and enthusiastically involved in worship services, educational programs, music events, Preschool, and outreach to the community.  We encourage you to join us in worship and fellowship as disciples of Jesus Christ.  For further information or to ask questions about the work and ministry of First Presbyterian Church, please call the church office.

On January 25, 1999, our congregation began celebrating its centennial having been organized two years after the town of Roanoke Rapids received its charter.  Our congregation has a rich heritage of worship and ministry spanning the last one hundred years.

For our church family, in addition to our worship services, we provide opportunities for fellowship and educational experiences for all ages.  There are opportunities to share in outreach programs, and we have a quality preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds.  Separate worship for children during the 11 o'clock service is offered.

Music plays an important part in our church.  It enhances our worship services and provides an opportunity to share the inspiration and joy of singing.

Our mission outreach includes both local and world communities who need assistance.  In this way, we are witnesses to the love and compassion of Christ.

We invite you to come and join in worship, fellowship, and ministry.
