worship, the session should provide for education in Christian worship by means
appropriate to the age, interests, and circumstances of the members of the
congregation….”

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Classes are available for all ages: nursery as needed, K-1st
grade, 2nd-3rd grade, 4th-5th grade, 6th-8th grade, and 9th-12th grade. There
are also two adult classes: Covenant Life Class which uses a lectionary based
Bible study and the Kaleidoscope Class which uses selected materials. The hours
for Sunday School are 9:45 to 10:45 A.M.
VACATION CHURCH SCHOOL
Vacation Church School is held for all ages one week, usually in
June.
YOUTH GROUPS
The Senior High (14-18 years old) and Pioneers (11-13 years old)
Fellowships and PresbyKids (8-10 years old) meet on scheduled Sunday evenings at
6:00 P.M. with their adult leaders for supper, programs and projects. Once a
year the youth groups provide leadership for Sunday worship.
CONFIRMATION CLASS
A Confirmation Class is held each fall by the minister for young
people age 12 or older who are preparing to make a profession of faith in
Christ.
MEN’S BREAKFAST GROUP
The men of the church meet the third Sunday of each month at 8:00
A.M. for breakfast and fellowship. Programs of particular interest to the group
are often presented
PRESBY SENIORS
This group of energetic seniors and retirees meets the second
Tuesday for lunch and fellowship.
PRESCHOOL
Our church has sponsored a pre-school since 1985. There are two
3 year old classes. One meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 to
11:00 A.M., the other on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from noon to 2:30 P.M.
There are two 2 year old classes. One meets on Monday morning from 9:00 to 11:00
A.M., the other on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. Church members have
first priority for available spaces. The pre-school stresses individuality and
Christian education in an age appropriate curriculum. Classes are small and each
class has a teacher and a teacher’s assistant.
The number of classes may
vary depending upon enrollment.
LIBRARY
The church library is located in the Sanctuary. It offers a
variety of selections for children, youth and adults. Church members may use the
library at any time.
