Titus 2: 11-14

We gain salvation, not through good works, but by way of the grace of God which is there for all who accept Jesus as their Lord and savior.  Through this acceptance, we are taught the way in which God would have us live our lives while awaiting the coming of his kingdom and are provided with a spiritual basis and desire to do good in his name.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, we do accept Jesus Christ, your son, as our Lord and Savior.  Help us now to know and understand his teachings and give us strength to live our lives in keeping with those teachings.  Amen
